Look. I understand the Celtics as a whole shot themselves in the foot collectively. Even so. We were dueling in the end and the refs said NO. Yeah, you earned getting into the penalty and you drew the foul but NO. Can't have it. Yes, their big gets two extra shots at the line even though he was passing during the foul. I'm not sure why some can't at least acknowledge that momentum killing like that down the stretch makes it virtually impossible. Yes, these Celtics have it in their DNA to get rattled off and on and play under pressure. Yes, they put themselves in the position to have to duel. Tiny bumps got them free throws on one end and Pierce getting a hard swipe gets nothing. No flopping. The hard way. But no.

It's all that stuff combined. Not any one thing. And maybe you honestly don't like Doc, but you'll certainly take him when he draws up magic for a much needed bucket, am I right? Bad coach is very knee-jerk, I think.

Plenty of ball left.

I don't get it either. Refs don't take all the blame but they do deserve alot more then people are giving them credit for here for the most part. Philly is not back in this game and they do not have the momentum without some help from the refs.

Nobody is saying it was completely the refs fault. But it is OK to admit some of it was.

The one thing I will agree on is that Bass should have been in the game.

this is so frustrating, we totally blew this game! The series was basically over and we handed it back to them.

Hes been the best closer in the series thats for sure. He can do what he wants, hes dominated Pierce on both ends the entire series.

we played the 1st qt like we usually the 4th
we slacked off on D~even tho we were up i feel we started slacking before the half.
all of a sudden we got very clumsy

gotta blame the whole team for this one.
but no doubt we will advance

We are going to advance. It's a 48 minute game for a reason. We just failed to get it done when it mattered the most down the stretch, and we took our foot off the gas when we had a chance to put the 76ers away.

It's as simple as that. We are the better team, and will win this series. Only way this team loses the series is if they quit, and I don't think there's any quit in this team.

Could not see the game, unfortunately,, but BOS's not done.

We'll regroup and put PHI down shortly.

Philly took 36 free throws.
Boston took 19 free throws.

Kind of a big disparity, just saying. We all know KG has been getting hacked in the paint all series.

Lavoy Allen and Elton Brand both had one personal foul. Spencer Hawes had two.

KG and BB had four apiece.. I saw the game and didn't notice much, but the stats alone tell a weird story in the post.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Two hours later, I'm still annoyed about this team's performance.

They had a golden opportunity here.  Had they taken care of business against a defeated team, they would have had two rest days.  They could have come out with guns blazing on Monday, stepped on their throats and enjoyed a week to rest up and prepare for Indy or Miami.

Instead, they're in a best-of-three war with a team that has confidence and momentum.  I still believe the Celtics will win, but this isn't the way I wanted to see them do it.

Oh, well.  Go get Game 5 on Monday - and this time finish the job.

KG got mugged in the post which is why his shot was off a lot, barely any calls
