the team took this game as serious as possible.

also, rondo will be fully rested after playing the most minutes in game 1. rondos mind will be aggressive, and will focus on basketball after sitting it out and thinking about his mistake.

Rondo usually has his best games after some letdown.  He puts his mind on the game 100%

It was good.

The team took it as a must win. Win by any means. It lit a fire under them and I'm glad.

Time to head back home and get 2.

The moment he got suspended I thought (and posted) it's good for waking the team up. Well Pierce woke up and... Well, nobody else. We cannot win this if Pierce needs to score 30+ a game.

It seems as Ray's presence brings confidence in three point shooting for the whole team. I hope that in Boston we'll finally start playing our game. Pietrus, Sasha and Paul need a lot more three point attempts, Bradley needs to take at least 3 shots from each corner. Bass and KG have got to get those deep twos.

hopefully we don't get too overconfident with Rondo back in game 3 and blow another winnable game.

I don't think they have to take more threes. I just think they need to start making more of the ones they are taking. 14-15 a game is a good amount. The team will usually hit 5-6 of those.

This is playoff basketball. Take it to the hole and force the refs to make the calls. The Hawks are already thin down low. Take it to the hole.

This is the first time in practically a year that the Celtics... took it to the hole. Remember Tommy crying and begging them to try getting to the line? Not sure if this means we can expect more of this or have they emptied the free throw bag until the next season..
Yeah, they took some threes. Only 4 were good shots: the late Pierce dagger, Bradley's corner miss, and Dooling's 2. Those shots were our shots. The rest were random desperate failures. There was no extraextraextra pass in this game that usually gets us those shots we want, the threes that we used to beat Miami - I recall at least 4 times that the ball traveled along the three point line until reaching one player who is in a comfourtable position.
