WHO do we hav for seasoned BIGS right now...KG and steamer.....is kg   25 yrs old.....what are we going to do if he gets hurt....why, how about get the other bigs ready..just in case......duh.....and steamer can foul out too.....then what...play young tall teams with all small.....come on....you got 2 more 7 footers..get the most out of them...get them ready......we HAVE seen injuries like this before.....gotta be ready, and the time is there.....20 points.....

Sorry, but I'm not following your philosophy. I've heard you talk on several occasions that the team needs to practice more and you've disagreed that the vets, like KG, need the days off to rest in order to save their legs. However, now you're bringing up potential injuries and what happens if KG gets hurt. Not only do I agree with others on their opinion that there goes our season, but then I ask you, wouldn't more practice only increase the likelihood of the potential injury that we all fear?

All part of the agenda.  ;D

Good win tonight. I think we delivered an important message to the Sixers that they have a long way to go before they are considered upper echelon. We got a very bad break earlier today when the Bullz blew their game ahi St the Nix. I think we are at least a good solid third in the EC now and about sixth or seventh in the Entire association right now. What's nice is the growth of Avery Bradley and Greg Stiesma to go along with the competitive core going forth. Sasha Pavlicek is coming on strong of late (I intended to spell it this way). This team can mount a significant playoff campaign and I expect they will.

Game on for Tuesday. We can deliver another message to the NBA on Tuesday.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

this is the best KG has looked since 2008... he's moving great.  Incredible to watch.

Bradley is playing fantastic basketball right now.  Reminds me of a mini Tony Allen without the mental problems.

Stiesma is an active little role player and deserves credit.

I like this team.  WE're undersized out likely outmatched against some of the real contenders... but we are going to cause any team we face serious headaches.  The defense, energy and chemistry is fantastic right now.

Another really good win.  Many thought we'd go 0 and 7 during our current tough stretch.  3 and 2 so far.  Let's see if we can't solidify our position as a team to be reckoned with by beating the Heat again on Tuesday.

I love this basketball team.

Depends who you think the contenders are, I think.  I had Miami, Chicago, OKC, Dallas and the Lakers as my contenders at the start of the season.  Some people might count San Antonio.

Tue, Dec 27 @ Miami L 115-107 (no Pierce)
Wed, Jan 11 vs Dallas L 90-85
Fri, Jan 13 vs Chicago L 88-79
Mon, Jan 16 vs Oklahoma City L 97-88
Thu, Feb 9 vs Los Angeles L 88-87 OT

Sun, Feb 12 vs Chicago W 95-91 (Rose didn't play)
Thu, Feb 16 @ Chicago L 89-80
Mon, Feb 20 @ Dallas L 89-73 (no KG or Rondo)
Wed, Feb 22 @ Oklahoma City L 119-104 (no Rondo)
Sun, Mar 11 @ Los Angeles L 97-94

Sun, Apr 1 vs Miami W 91-72 (first legitimate win)
Wed, Apr 4 vs San Antonio L 87-86
Thu, Apr 5 @ Chicago L 93-86

So I mean... I personally don't count the first win against Chicago, because Rose didn't play.  I do acknowledge that our only chance of beating the Bulls is Rose going down with an injury in the playoffs.  So maybe you count it??  I don't know.  That leaves us as 1 for 12 against contenders with our lone legitimate win coming last week against the Heat.  Hats off on that one... impressive.

However... there were 3 losses there where one of the Big 3 didn't play.  So to be fair (since I didn't count the first Bulls win)... that leaves us as 1 for 9 against contenders.  I missing something here or do we really think we are good enough to beat a team like the Lakers with two legit 7 foot big men?

We dont need to be good enough to beat the Lakers.

Lakers arent making it out of the west.

If you are looking for a number to make you feel better, we are 12 and 7 against Eastern Conference teams currently at .500 or above.

The Lakers, Spurs, and Thunder are the least of my concerns right now.  I'm much more concerned about the teams we'll be facing in the Eastern conference playoffs.  If we get to meet one of those Western conference teams in the playoffs, I'll already be overjoyed.

At that point, as we all know, "anything is possible!!!!!"
