Kwame Brown is potentially out for the season, so I guess we have an idea of what the trade value of Jermaine O'Neal's expiring contract is if you take the value of Bogut/Jackson and subtract the value of Ellis/Udoh.

Can we make this the official trade deadline thread? I'd like one of those.

The Warriors could have got more out of that. Udoh is young and talented. But like the trade for both teams.

If the Knicks can trade Chandler and Melo for Howard, and Dwight is willing to sign an extension, Stern would do back flips.

The Knicks wouldn't even blink before making this trade.  They'd have some caproom next year to bring in a shooter, and if they can clear out Balkman and JR Smith opts out of $2.5m, they could make a play for Eric Gordon.

If not, they could move JR Smith into Melo's spot and Sina  decent bench SF this summer.  This move would help Amare, who is more of a finesse, jump shooting big now.

Lin and D Ho in the pick and roll game would be fun to see too.
