Rondo & Pierce simply have a hard time coexisting...

Maybe it hurt Pierce's feelings when Doc and KG called it Rondo's team in the beginning of the season (which by the way seemed a little disrespectful towards the Captain - it should be him handing over the reins, if any). 

I agree with this.  You're probably right.
How so Pierce has said himself it's Rondo's team now...

I honestly only remember Doc and KG saying it. I remember, that Pierce said that Rondo was the difference between a playoff team and a contending team.

Yeah I don't think KG and Soc really thought this was Rondos team. More of a tactic to instill confidence in him.

I think there is definitely some disconnect between the two. It may in the C's best interests going forward to trade one of the two. Knowing Ainge though, he may trade both of them.
