Jermaine O’Neal believes it’s time for a meeting. Captain Paul Pierce doesn’t believe it’s that time quite yet. They both agree that something has to change if the Celtics are going to make any impact on the playoffs in eight weeks. ...
you don't have to be a genius not to figure out the obvious..when everybody is clamoring for JO to be out of beantown, it is him who actually cares..pierce's reluctance only shows an air of arrogance and uncaring...its true they are on the same boat, similar predicaments but if you are a team who is expected to be performing light years ahead of what you are achieving now, i bet you should start talking now..if you really care, a sense of urgency should be shown, not necessarily pressing the panic button, but a reality check should be put in a proper context..all the variables are infront of us; age, health and the compressed season so i guess habits should at least change, mindsets revised and confidence level reinforced..we cannot possibly possess the swagger from our winning year because its never the same anymore, paul being the captain should initiate all these, not by a dude considered as "washed-up" which the celtics fandom wants to be out of their parquet floor,so the next time you want some heads to roll, you guys just might want to rethink who should they really be..
