I like Rondo, but I might consider something like Collison, Hansbrough and a pick or Rondo and the lower of our two 1st round picks this year for Collison and George.

I'm not a big fan of Deron Williams either, mainly because of his head as well.

If important and binding decisions could be made in this website, Rondo would have been traded away, brought back, traded again, brought back, traded again, brought back. Same with Pierce, Allen and KG. Im glad we can only think outloud in here; nothing more.  :-\

You can do that in a Fantasy League anytime  :o
The beatings will continue until morale improves

we can only assume you hate rondo so much you'd be willing to hurt the team in trading him for devin harris or "almost any trade involving rondo will make us better "

You know what happens when you assume you make a blank out of you and me.   I love Rondo.   I would not take D Will on this team over him.

  • You say when......
My vote is nO WAY, Rondo must STAY....Still blaming Rondo...why....ugh. The problem with some Celtics fans /....is that they always think we can just sign anyone we want....Besides, didn't doc just say this is rondos team..? Now what...? Rondo had no one to run with....you saw that, no matter who he passed to, they missed their shots..so now they are getting in better shape, and playing the rookies, who are ready to run also....and you want to dump him...dump one of the top 5 point guards, for one of the top 5 point guards.....and they can learn to play with the team.....uhm...WHEN....next AUGUST...?

What do most players in the NBA want to do?

SHOOT!

So why get an other shooting PG in a league of shooters?

Yes if Rondo is the only option DWill may be better. But if you surround this guy with shooters and runners, how good will he be? They guy is averaging 10 APG and they could hit anything for three weeks. If they were hitting shots he'd probably be in the 15 mark easy.

Plus seeing Rondo on the sidline the last couple games talking to the younger players shows he's a team player. When DWill came to town and didn't play he barely looked interested. (All thought I couldn't blame him for playing on the Nets) But still not really in it for the team at times.

So I don't thin he HAS TO GO, But unless your getting a better PG than him, which I don't think DA could pull of a trade for Rose, why move him?
