Trade Restrictions, Odom, Kaman February 11-12

Dallas sends: Haywood,Odom,Beaubois
Dallas gets: Kaman,Hickson

Sacto sends: Thompson,Hickson,Greene,Whiteside
Sacto gets: Haywood,Odom,Beaubois

Hornets sends: Kaman
Hornets gets: Thompson,Greene,Whiteside

Dallas clears cap space for next year, expiring contracts of Kaman and Hickson, keeps them in playoff contention this year.

Hornets get 2 expirings and a young player, just what they need right ?

Sacramento doesn't want to keep Thompson,Greene,Whiteside. Hickson is up for an extension and i'm not sure they want to pay him,he isn't even a starter there.

Trade makes sense for them, Odom back to California and would be playing for a new contract next year, Haywood gives them inside presence.

  • Rondo = Good
So you're telling me Sacto is going to participate in a trade that makes them older, hurts their frontcourt depth, adds another shoot-first undersized combo guard to their roster (Roddy, Jimmer, Isiah, Tyreke, Thornton), and saddles them with Brendan Haywood's contract?

Yeah . . . keep trying.
