without a heathly PP we would be luckly to win 2 games out of four.

I'm not seeing any signs at the moment that makes me think they can make the playoff or should .

They just got the socks beat off of them by a slapped together NO team missing their best player at that.

14-6 at the end of January. Lets see how we are at 20 games. A win or two against dallas or chicago or OKC, a split with Orlando and Indy and winning every other one we should win will get us there. Im not panicked but now Im worried. Why am I worried?

1. KG looks even worse than last year on defensive rotations.
2. Rondo needs to be even more aggressive but stay in front of his man on d. He has again been burned repeatedly. I realize he has played well, before I catch a bunch of tomatoes. The problem is he needs to be even better to make up for KG and what may well be some drop off with PP. If he can't be... well he was a key to this year
3. Little help from JO, and by that I mean a couple notches worse than what is needed
4. We knew this already but 3 games now with key missing players
5. Doc has always been AWFUL at managing minutes. I don't know whats wrong with the guy, maybe he sucks at math. But he is ridiculous so far. He pushed the guys to the brink in 2 games they probably wouldn't win and then rested them much more on the 2nd day of the back to back....huh? KG playing 37 minutes? Kg? He barely did that in the playoffs.

Pistons, Wizards twice, and the Nets. They then will likely lose 4 out of the next 5 -- Lose to the Pacers twice, the Bulls and OKC, and beat the Mavericks. that will make them 5-7 after 12 games.  Discuss.

Aren't most of those games at home? Why can't we go eight and 1 over that stretch put us at a solid eight and four. That said we need to get off the schnide.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Have you seen the Pacers play yet this year? How good are you expecting them to be?

Bird another guy who thought he was bigger than the establishment left the Celts in a hissy fit when he couldn't get his own way. A less than mediocre Coach and GM. Hoping we beat him twice.

  Discuss.

I have just seen highlights. I expect the Pacers to either finish a game or two ahead or behind the Celtics.

Ok so that means you think that us and Indiana are equal.  Yet a few posts ago you chalked an Indiana home game on a Friday night in which the Celtics will be favored (Pierce or no-Pierce) as an automatic loss.

That is what blogs are all about. Making predictions. Having fun. I think the Pacers will beat the Celtics twice. I hope I am wrong.

Right now I'm just concerned about beating the Pistons in our home opener on Friday.
