Sasha Pavlovic 11.8, James Posey 11.5. That's their career average for points per 36 minutes.
Posey at his peak was much better than Pavlovic, but Posey is an old man and Pavlovic is not, and what matters is how they play next season, not what they've done in the past.
Posey is more likely to have his performance fall of a cliff due to age. Pavlovic is good enough that he could fit into the rule of veteran who can be signed to a string of minimum contracts to provide depth (no better than third string) and continuity for the team in the future. If you overvalue "veteran-ness", then you might as well wish for the Lakers to amnesty Luke Walton so Ainge can sign him. Walton has two rings, too.
