To me, this Brady's son thing is kinda the continuing of a downward spiral in quality for Barstool Boston. It doesn't offend me really, but I just don't see the point of the post.

That sites kinda really narrowed down to a very specific fraternity-like audience. Doesn't seem like they ever post anything genuinely funny anymore, but instead alter between fight videos, smut and sponsorship.

Which I'm sure has made him a fortune, and it clearly has an audience, but I've certainly been dissapointed with the turn the sites taken over the past few years.

I don't really have a problem with the ads because I understand the neccesity. I more have a problem with ads on top of declining quality.

Again, I get that there must be a huge audience for it, but I don't understand the fascination w/ the fights.

My problem is when half his posts are pimping up some ridiculous event at Game On! or Spring Break thing or whatever.

Too much promotion and not enough content sometimes.

Ya, and its a bummer, because I used to really, really love going to that site. Now I find myself kinda quickly scrolling through it when I do go.

I didn't think it was funny, and he definitely should have known ultra sensitive people out there would get all upset about it. I don't know, Nirvana's Nevermind album didn't offend me either.

Well, the difference between the Nevermind album cover and El Prez' post was the lewd comments.

In general I don't think too many people find naked babies offensive.  However, the context is everything.

The comments are the unfunny edgy part. if he posted those pictures without the comments this is a non-story.

Yeah, or just simply apologized when he realized it was offending a lot of people, instead of essentially attacking them.

That's the thing that I don't get.  I understand sticking to your guns, but you gotta pick your battles if you want any chance to stay in the public eye.

When you get into sensitive areas like this (you don't mess with kids...you just don't), you will only dig your hole deeper if you try to rationalize it.
