Actually, I believe there is an "in-between", and I'm sure Danny, Wic, et al, feel the same way. You absolutely want to do all you can to win this year, especially when you have three very talented players who are quickly approaching the end of their careers. But you also want to do all you can to build for the future at the same time, and not pass up on options or players who can be members of your future re-building effort. I think the "no in-between" approach is both over-simplifying and a bit short-sighted, and I trust the powers that be to see things a little more thoroughly than that, and be intelligent and insightful enough to work this thing from both ends.

Win Now, we can still win the ring if we make a great roster

One more chance, Big Three is untouchable.

I think we definitely can win now...Injuries to key players and Lebron playing out of his mind are what were our demise last season.

if Danny can keep Delonte, Jeff Green, BBD....and sign some veteran wings like Grant hill, Michael redd...and use the MLE on bigs like Kwame brown, aaron gray etc..I think we have a good team that can compete...then, most of them come off the books next summer when we can make a run for D. Howard

Personally, I dont think Lebron can repeat the REDICULOUS playing that he was able to put on in the Celtics/Bulls series...both teams played good defense..but the guy was hitting fadeaway 3's with hands in his face...I think if he plays the way he usually does(against 76ers/Dallas) then we/bulls can take them

We were close to winning games 4 and 5, even with Rondo's whole arm thing and Lebron going into clutch-god mode.. I think we have one more shot for sure

its eaiser to rebuild & save another heartbreaking loss . only way we can be fav's next year is if we pull something big off in the offdeason a steal in some sort

That's a cowardly, craven sentiment.  You only want to try and win if you can be the favorite?

if they shorten the game to 2 quarters we'll have a chance. This team is so out of gas.

Rebuild.

Of course I'd like to win now, but it's pretty clear to me this team can't. This team needs better talent at the top, GPA, just aren't going to get it done anymore. Minor tweaks and role players aren't going to change the fact that our 3 stars aren't really stars anymore. They can't find that second gear the way they used to and taht's been the difference the last two play-offs. IMO, If your star players aren't doing their jobs then you can't expect your role players to be the difference makers. Putting money into this core is putting money into a sinking ship. They got their chances they had a good run now it's time to move on.

Both.

Definitely win now, but we should be setting up pieces for the near future.

Win now *and* rebuild.  How?  Trade for Chris Paul.  ;D

lol. THIS!

but seriously, win now by signing everyone we can to 1-year contracts, then rebuild next year. if we get DH12 and CP3 or something, hopefully we can resign KG and RA to vet min.

CP3-RA-PP-KG-DH... i would say that's up there for greatest starting 5 of all time.
