Just saw a bit on ESPN's "Around the Horn".  They were discussing the Bruins/Canucks series and what would be remembered more, the Bruins win or the riots in Vancouver. The panelists had differing opinions on what would be remembered more, but, most striking was what Adande had to say in response to Woody Paige's comments on how special this win was for Boston.  I can't provide an exact quote, but, basically he stated he was tired of seeing Boston win and the overall Cup Final was a boring series.  All of the other 3 panelists, and the host as well, thought he was way off base in his thoughts on the series being boring and felt it was quite compelling.

J.A. Adande:  BOSTON HATER (typical LA bum)

I saw it. He did not say he was tired of Boston winning. He said the fact that the Bruins won after 39 years was not that monumental for the city of Boston compared with the Red Sox, and I agree with him.  All the other panelists and host piled on him when he tried to argue it was not a great series. His point was that all the Boston wins were not close, but he ignored the back and forth drama, the fights, the concussions, the heroic play by Boston goal keeper, etc. ect. He looked kind of stupid on that point, but to say he was a blatant Boston hater, I disagree.

I don't blame anyone not from Boston for being tired of seeing Boston teams win championships.  I know I would be tired of it if I were them.
