If you can’t see the hatred Dwight has for the Celtics then you aren’t paying attention. He is not coming here.
I agree have heard him say it actually more than a few times over any player, I dont like those guys don't like Green etc.. but still I guess cant take it too seriously

Who is the last major free agent the Celts brought in during the prime years of his career?

Yeah thats what I thought.

It ain't happening.
When is the last time the Celtics were both relevant and had cap space? Thought so too. You can't magically sign free agents.

Exactly, Celtics will have the perfect mix of young talent and veteran leadership AND cap space.

In the early 2000's they had space but the winning tradition was lost.

The 90's were screwed from when The NBA kept Reggie's contract on the books.

80's didn't need free agents.

70's didn't really have free agents.

The biggest advantage LA have over Boston is that they can make a trade for Dwight Howard. They have the trade assets to make a deal.

The biggest advantage LA has is that they have no qualms with blowing the team up.

The core of the back-to-back champions is younger than our core, but the only untouchable player is Kobe Bryant (and I´m not sure that they wouldn´t trade him, either, for a chance to land Dwight Howard). In Boston, every role-player has to hang their number in the rafters, or people will riot in the streets.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

What 2008 role players are still on the team?

Not sure if serious...but it´s sarcasm.

I also don't think Orlando will trade him before he reaches free agency... they might be one of the dumbest teams in the league. Uhh... they traded for Gilbert Arenas... they'll probably overpay for J-Rich then blindly convince themselves that Dwight won't leave.
Keep dreaming.  I would be very surprised if Orl just lets howard walk.  Most are speculating that his only choices are LA and NJ.  And from orl perspective, LA has much more to offer.  A package of Bynum and Odom would be the best orl could do.

And brool lopez?  Please, he is pretty much horrible.  Yes, he can score but he is soft as charmin.  Plays NO D and backs down from any challenge.
