No.. Rondo missed a lay up with the game tied, PP botched a last posession play, Jeff greeen or KG didn't box out Chris Bosh on that tip-in that led to that fake nausiating wide-mouthed scream. DOC was outside the game on the sidelines instead, but it could be my tv who knows.

Doc tried to do something different in game 5 with the lineups, but it was a little too late

Why play Big Baby instead of Kristic the whole series? Why?

Anyone that says Doc cost us this game and this series got be kidding.

Before the series begun, everybody knew that we would need a superb Rondo and help from the bench to win. With Rondo's elbow, JO's and Shaq's problems and BB's collapse, we did what we could and so did Doc.

a 14-0 run for the Heat in the last 4 minutes. Two critical possessions and we get two Jeff Green turnovers.

Nah cant be the coaching ::)

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Doc didn't:
miss any shots
turn the ball over
not rotate on D
throw a bad pass
botch a set play

You can blame Doc if you want, but he went with the guys that know the system that he felt game us the best chance to win. When guys don't come through and have poor execution, I can't see how you can put that on coaching.

Yea, blaming Doc seems crazy to me.  His rotations were perfect tonight, he kept the hot players (west, kristic) on the floor, gutsy and smart move

Doc was the perfect coach for this group of guys.  Few others could have kept them in check and won the 2008 title imo

Yes, for this game. That is my point
He neglected to do it since game 1, which cost the Celtics the series

No he didn't cost us the series, but if it makes you deal with the loss to Miami..hey, go for it. We all watched the last minutes of games 4 and 5, and you might want to give PP a call about botched plays and TOs.

Doc did not cost us this series. I can't believe people actually believe that.

Once Rondo went down we lost any chance of pulling it off.  It was critical for him to have a good series and once he hurt his elbow we were at a huge disadvantage.
