Seriously, this guy is an idiot. Let's not put a Green uniform on him. And his mom is no better, didn't you guys see her on the Slam Dunk contest? Man, I almost puked with the whole act. It was embarrassing.

wow...I didn't like the show, but Griffin's show wasn't great either, and I wouldn't mind to have either player.

I don't think he's the answer for the Celtics, and Washington won't give up on him until he proves he's reached his top. I wanted the C's to draft him, or DeAndre Jordan, or Jason Thomson back in the day, but Danny chose JR Giddens over DeAndre, who was the only one still on the table.

Although a 7 footer who can run the floor would be a great complement to Rondo, and even more if he rebounds like a beast, we're not getting such a player until 2012. This year's draft (hopefully I'm wrong) won't give that, because big players will be gone in the lottery spots.

The 2012 Clippers pick could be the key , either at the trade deadline or by actually using it in the Draft in case the Clippers are better than 21th team in the league.

I don't seem to recall what you're talking about.... And I like McGee. I think his defense and athleticism is great.

Err, nothing to do with the Slam Dunk show. It was how he talked, when he had his mom come from a stand waving like an idiot, then going around kissing the judges. It was just embarrassingly lame and odd. Best part of the whole show were the commentators laughing their asses off at McGee throughout the whole thing.

McGee is a poor player. Lousy defender.

I feel bad seeing comparisons to Sammy Dalembert ... he has a long way to go before ever gets near a player of Sammy's quality.

Not really a fan of going after McGee. He has a nice skill set but as people have said, his BBIQ has got to be among the lowest in the league. I'm definitely on the DeAndre Jordan bandwagon and if not him Marc Gasol who has been tearing Tim Duncan a new one in the playoffs.

The only problem is that both these centers are RFAs and seem to really like their teams so it will be really hard to sign either one.

Stay away from the long time young Wiz.  They learned the NBA from Gilbert.  They are very immature.

He needs a few years playing with mature NBA players to develop and I don't think the Celtics have that type of time.

Yes, that was lame, you're right, but IMO, that doesn't mean the guy is a leper. We all make stupid things when we are young and stupid... now, about Pam, it was sad to see her doing that.

Again, if the Celtics got McGee, I don't see as the second coming of Bill Russell, but he might be useful if he has the will to learn to play team ball.

I like Mcgee, him and J.O. would be a great duo. We deffinetly need a center after this year because we can't depend on shaq and kristic is bad defensively

Kenyon Martin will be a free agent after this season. It would be easier to sign him than trade for McGee. Sign KMart for 2 years and hopefully get Dwight Howard after the 2013 season. Wishful thinking, right?

I might get some heat for this, but I would prefer to get someone like Nene, he's a good scoring center, and from what I've seen bodies up well. I would love him in Green. :)

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
no thanks he has pretty much hit his ceiling.
No bball IQ just freakish athelete.

No he hasn't.  I hate when people say players have reached their ceiling.  Big men can take 5 years to develop and this kid is only in his 3rd year.  Pierce has improved some things in his game later in his career.  It's never too late to improve.
Sorry but this guy is dumber than a sack of rocks.
He has the mental capacity of a 16 year old kid and just doesn't have a bball IQ.
He isn't like Randolph where his hunger/heart will make up for lack of IQ either.
He can jump out the building but his defense is terrible, he can't shoot and he makes terrible decisions over and over.
There are some much better options than this guy.
