I love how one regular season loss (despite winning the other 3 games) makes everyone on this board frightened to death of the heat. It's actually hilarious.

This is a seven game series with games that will most likely go down to the wire, and you guys are tipping the worst team in the clutch with very little depth.

Makes perfect sense.

Ahhhhh you are so right! Exactly my thinking. Its comical to me

it doesn't necessarily have to do with the one loss, it is more of just looking at how the heat have been playing recently...they have it all together right now, they are going to be tough, they were built to play a team like boston/la...i can't stand lebron, but he is going to be a major problem for us to handle, imho

I got the C's in 6. They have to win one of the 1st 2 games in Miami though. I don't see them winning game 7 in Miami.

Cetics in 6 or 7. I don't see us losing this series. Kg will absolutely annihilate Bosh, Rondo will be a beast, and Doc will outcoach Spo.

Celtics in 6.. They might have to win 2 road games, like last year vs. Cleveland. Despite their record in close games, they just might pull out a win via a clutch (or lucky) shot so we must build a comfortable lead and not lose it!
Jeff Green's defense vs Lebron will be a big factor. PP and Ray will definitely have a tough time so Rondo and KG will have to carry the team. The centers will have to play well so lebron and wade won't kill us with their penetration.
I think the C's will win games 1,3,5 and 6, then on to... hmmm, ATL?   ;)

I say Celts in 4 - that is without Shaq.
And with Shaq... we can win in 3!  ;D

Celts in 3. Heat forfeit game 4 out of embarrassment.
LOL
TP just for thinking outside the box!

I think C's in 6 PROVIDED Shaq can play some limited minutes to provide fouls on Bron and Wade drives as well as allow Doc to use JO to back up KG on Bosh AND Green can provide solid, quality minutes guarding Bron and some much-needed bench scoring.

I think Bosh will crap all over BBD during the series and the Stern-led refs will give Wade and Bron a parade to the free-throw line resulting in foul trouble for Ray and PP.

I think Krstic can actually help in this series since the Heat don't have a really physical center and his shooting will be really helpful off the bench.  Having watched Rondo against the Knicks, I think he goes off on the Heat more than he did against the Knicks.  Spoelstra probably moves Wade or Bron to cover him and lives with Miller on either Ray or PP (and we hope they're able to play and not riding the pine with fouls).

If no Shaq, C's still take it but in 7.

If Green doesn't make a real contribution at least on D,  I think the Heat could pull out the series.  This is the team Ainge wanted Green for -- he's got to show up, play hard and really contribute.
