MVP treatment for sure. Tv money more important then correct calls. Do we have anyone willing to lay the wood on a guy that just drives the lane and tosses the ball up in the air? Greg Kite can u suit up?
"The chemistry's got to be better and the attitudes during games: arguing with the officials, not running back on defense, taking bad shots; all that stuff's got to stop. It's got to be a unit or it won't work." Larry Bird

The calls help but after watching the Bulls game, he's just flat out making incredible shots. Every shot Rondo has tried and missed it seems like Rose tries to same crazy circus shots and makes. No doubt to me he's an MVP.

Also Indian took all jump shots and lost the game due to tired legs. All Rose ever does is drive. I think it's fair he shot so many free throws. Indiana had no answer for him like every other team and had no option but to foul.

Become Legendary.

The FT disparity for both MIA and CHI against PHI and IND is just too much. CHI was exposed a bit defensively. Collison heated it up in the first half. I don't care who your opponent is...you have to bring it.

i actually watched the game, Rose was getting hard fouled like crazy, every time he went to the rim, someone would slap him up...

look at his percentage, he was 0-9 from 3 point range, the Pacers made him work, Rose worked for all his 39 points

See, upon looking at the stat sheet, one would assume he was ice cold shooting and the refs bailed him out whenever possible.

I will believe you that he was being met at the rim, because he is capable. But why would Indy even bother letting him do anything other than shoot? I would have sagged off him and cut him off every time. Make him a shooter. Sound familiar?

Yes. But Rose is a fairly superior shooter relatively to Rondo. He was missing shots because they were defending and contesting them. Give him too much space and he'll start hitting them and get hot.

The Pacers don't have good interior defenders. Hibbert has the length to bother Rose, but he's slow so he was always a bit late. Hansbrough is small, McRoberts is dumb, Foster is old (but should be playing more). Solution? Fouls.

& to be fair to Chicago, Indiana missed their final 10 shots I believe. But 21 FT's is sickening.

Oh I agree that Indy didn't really handle it the best way, and their personnel simply doesn't allow them to control Rose without fouling too much.

That said, there were a lot of times when they were really going out of their way not to foul and Rose jumped into them for the and-1. Those should have been offensive fouls but they weren't called that way. I'm not even sure if it was due to any conscious effort on behalf of the refs or if they were just calling it how they saw it, but either way it was kind of poorly officiated. Even if they're not gonna call an offensive foul, it should be a no-call when the offensive player initiates it.

The last thing I'd like to add is that when determining if a team got screwed or not, it's kind of key to see who had more points in the paint and then determine who was really being the more aggressive team. Again, the Bulls were definitely attacking way more so the OVERALL disparity in free throws was pretty justified. It's just like Rose was getting some of that "special" treatment if you know what I mean. But hey, I guess MVP's receive that perk.

In retrospect I wish I had waited to post this until the Portland/Dallas game... the Blazers had 46 points in the paint and Dallas only had 18, yet Dallas shot 29 FT's and Portland shot only 13. That's pretty bogus, imo.
