In a lot of the game threads, I see complaints about Jeff Green looking unemotional and disinterested.  I am not sure that is a valid complaint.  Certainly, he plays too passively, but that is not the same as not caring.

Looking back, Marquis Daniels was another guy whose subpar performances at times were linked by some fans to his lack of outward emotion.  Looking even further back, the same stoicism that led to Robert Parish being dubbed "the Chief" was a reason he was available to be traded to Boston in the first place, as Golden State thought that his quiet demeanor meant that he was lazy and didn't care.

Conversely, I think that some fans overrate Glen "Big Baby" Davis because their passion for the Celtics allows them to more easily identify with a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Stipulating that Green has flaws in his game, is a lack of visible emotion a valid criticism?  Does he have to appear fired up to be fired up or is it possible for him to improve his play without abandoning his in-game poker face?
