He's been fantastic the last few games.

Moreover, its such a warm-fuzzy story with delonte. He deserves a breakout postseason.

Delonte is a really quick, active and aggressive defender.

It is not unreasonable to project him into Tony Allen's role from last season's playoff run - star shooting guard disruptor.

Wade and Kobe want nothing to do with 16 minutes of Delonte's Inferno!

I'm a big Delonte fan, but I don't think his D is quite up to Tony's level.  He offers a lot of things that TA didn't, but I think he's more of an agitator on D than a lockdown player.

That is a fair assessment but defense is not all about being a 1 on 1 defender.   Delonte's help defense is off the charts.  In fact, he sometimes helps too much out there instead of just locking up with his man.   Delonte > Tony - help defense; Tony > Delonte - one on one defender. Thats how I compare their defensive abilities.
