Rick Fox/C Webber dissin' Cs???

Rick Fox is the only Celtic that I hated when he was a Celtic. There are players that I have not been fond of in Green; but when he went to the Lakers that just confirmed to me why I had such a dislike (polite term) for him.

I'm a little confused.  C Webb has always been one of the biggest Rondo supporters.  Also, while I was watching them talk about the Celtics as a contender, I remember C Webb saying he had them winning the championship this year at the beginning of the season, but then he said that age does appear to be creeping up on them... That's not hating... That's a fact.

Haha!... I find this thread funny... But, why so heavy on Fox and CWebb... They're in the media now... Just being fair on what they see...

Fox is probably still recovering from the boos he got when he followed the Lakers to the Garden in the 2007-2008 season where all the celebrities on the jumbotron (including Arnold and Maria among others like Fox) got applause/cheers.

He'd have stayed a Celtic if not for the Celtics cutting him loose. Can't fault the guy for trying to continue his career, even if it was for the Fakers.  Mcadoo on the other hand --> that rat Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again.!!

He often got booed wearing a Celtics uniform. He just plain sucked.

Rick Fox played for a mediocre Celtic team, and won 3 championships as a Laker. Where do you expect his loyalties to go?

C Webb said nothing offensive, just that he felt father time was catching up with the Celtics. Many said the same thing about them all last year and that proved not to be the case.  Hopefully not this year either.  The fact is we have a good mix of youth (Rondo, Green, Delonte, Davis) and veterans (big 3 and the 2 O'Neals).  The age factor hurts on the 82 and back to back, but becomes an asset during the play-offs.

As for bashing the Celtics, the media are generally front-runners, and we've looked pretty lousy recently.  I wouldn't read too much into it.

Rick Fox was a little too exuberant, but I chalk that off to first time jitters.  They riffed on the aging of the C's, but they riffed on the age of the Spurs' stars too.  Nothing worried me about their comments, except when CWebb pointed out that he saw KG dragging one leg a little -- something I did not see but I appreciate that CWebb is the expert analyst.  He sure knows how aging and bad knees can affect game performance!  Seriously though, I thought he did a pretty good job.

yeah, KG dragged that knee all night on his way to 20 and 9...i'm sorry, i normally appreciate his insight and great on-air chemistry with McHale, but KG has looked great all year, not sure what the heck he was looking at.
