How can Murphy not choose Boston? Didn't he play at Notre Dame, his last name is Murphy? He needs to be in a Celtic uniform!

He's not a savior but he'd be an instant crowd favorite and he will certainly help out quite a bit.

He will spread the floor very nicely for KG, Shaq, Jo & baby in the post.

Pull off Battier and bring in Murphy - put up #18.

We don't need a 2. We still have lots of 2s. Just a 3. Doesn't even need to score. Needs to play defense. Also needs to be smart enough to pick up our system late in the season.

If I was Murphy I would sign with the Knicks.  He could start for the Knicks next to Amare and would be allowed to shoot lots of threes because Amare would be driving to the hoop. Also he does not have to move at all because he probably lives in Jersey or NYC right now, it is a no Brainer.

Yeah I agree. Getting Murphy after a buy out just became a much bigger deal for the C's.
