It sucks that Danny gave Nate that second year.  While we'll never know, I really feel this was another Scalabrine moment for DA, where he was bidding against himself.  I mean would any other team really have given Nate 2 years at 4.5 million a year?  I think he could've had him for 4.5 million for one year.

And if he did, I think Nate would really be more desirable to teams, as they could clear cap space this summer.  Plus, moving Nate for a 3 would be the easiest solution for our woes, as Delonte could slide to the 1, Wafer to the 2, and we'd have a new 3.

But at this point, I'm not sure how many teams are going to want to pay 4.5 million a year to 5-7 shooting guard.

Let's see how he does next to Delonte.....if his offense unslumps we'll be happy again...which doesn't negate anything you said....just that it won't hurt anymore as it does now.....I think Danny can grab a SF...

I'm hoping that Utah falls apart without Sloan, drops a bunch of games  and maybe Kirilenko could request a buy out.

So many good bench/borderline starter level small forwards around the league... And so many of them on crap/mediocre teams!

Surely one can be prised loose somehow. Even if Marquis recovers from his current injury, I think the risk and consequence of re-injury is too great to throw him back on the court this season. A replacement must be sought out.
