Atleast LeBron's decision only lasted for an hour.

I may be in the minority, but I think Anthony is one of the most overrated players in the NBA.  He'll have great star appeal in NY or NJ.  But he's not going to carry a team.  He'd better hope that if any trade takes place it includes Billups.....And that Billups ends up not getting bought out.  Anthony became twice the player when Billups came to Denver.
There's nobody on New Jersey's roster close to Billups.

If Billups is bought out or not included in the trade, NJ will have star power, but won't be markedly better.
I agree about Melo. He can carry a team to mediocrity with his horrible shot selection.

Latest report on RealGM says Carmelo does not want to talk to any teams, NJN or NYK.  He said it's the job of the front office to do the talking.  I took it to mean he has no interest in signing on with NJN because that's the impending deal and he does not want it to happen.

NJN are not going to pull the trigger without Melo signing the extension.
I think Carmelo just thought that it was against the rules. That it would be tampering for him to talk to another NBA team while under contract with the Nuggets.

Once the Nuggets front office sits him down and explains the situation to him, that is okay for him to talk to other teams once Denver grants them permission beforehand .... I am sure Melo will want to hear the Nuggets out.
