So Nash is on a terrible team. We know Sarvar, Suns' owner, is a cheap penny pincher.

Clippers have benched Baron for the time being. They've got some intriguing pieces; Bledsoe looks solid for the future but is still very young to run the team without expecting a lot of growing pains. Baron just seems to be a giant Turd in the Clipper Punch Bowl.

Now, the only way to trade Baron at this point is for an equally bad or worse contract. Turkoglu. His deal is a little less than Baron's per year but is a full year longer. And Phoenix has tons of SF's.

The Suns need to rebuild. They are in no man's land with a poor core. Sarvar likes to save money.

So here are 2 potential deals:

If Now:

Baron, Aminu, Deandre Jordan, Minny's #1 pick,
for
Nash, Turkoglu

The Suns get rid of Turkoglu's deal, pick up a top 5 pick and Aminu to rebuild. Tough out the Baron contract with the transition to Dragic at the point.

Clip's go:
Nash/Bledsoe
Gordon/Warren
Turkoglu
Griffin/Gomes
Kaman/Smith

or, after 12/15, Gomes, Foye, Butler, Cook, and Smith become tradeable, so they could swap in Gomes and an LAC #1 for the Aminu/Jordan part if Phoenix wants the pick and salary filler rather than Aminu but still make the salaries match.

No way do the Suns trade Nash anywhere without him giving his blessing, nor do I think they take a guy like Baron Davis back for him.

Why would Nash want to go to the clippers? Why would clippers give up a lottery pick to get Nash and Turk?

I don't think the Suns trade Nash unless its to a contender and I don't think the Clippers would be interested in dumping Davis and getting a deal like Turk's back. (especially not losing a high pick to boot!)

From what I understand Sterling has refused to part with Minny's pick in any trade previous to this, he knows its value. (How much is Blake Griffin worth after all!)

Oh and aren't the Clippers going to try and have Bledsoe be their PG going forward?

Cant really see Nash in a clipper uni. I could see Nash ending up either with Portland, Atlanta, or Houston. All three of these teams could do some damage with Nash at the point. The only reason I see Houston being hesitant is because they are god awful on the defensive end of things.
