Shaq is still a great scorer. Hope Doc can figure out how to use him correctly.

anytime you are 7 foot something and 300 lbs, you still have the ability to score...

i dont care if they are 50, they can still probably score. At this point in time, Shaq may not average 20 10 anymore, but hes still more than enough to average 12 and 6 for 20 minutes...

what more can we ask for? If he really is motivated this year and lose a few lbs, he may be in better shape than last year and be more effective

I bet that Shaq will be a LOT easier to use than Sheed was at times. I loved Sheed in Green, and will miss him, but when he stepped out to the three point line....well, I bit my nails a lot.

Shaq? We don't have to worry about him. All Doc has to do is say: "Big Fella, go do your thing."

Afterwhich, he'll go post his 7'1" 300+ pound behind down on the block, causing matchup problems for whoever's guarding him. If they double, he will kick it out to Pierce, Ray, Delonte, Von, Nate, etc - which will create opportunities for them.

Yes...Shaq will do quite nicely in Green. Of course he is not what he used to be, but he's not finished by a long shot.
