bah, based off of youtube clips alone I'd definitely take the Nate mix over what I've found on AI.
Both guys are impressive -- some of their high-school highlight videos seem to suggest that they were more talented all-around athletes than even some football players who went on to star in the NFL at that age. I mean, AI has led the league in scoring 3 times and Nate Robinson has won the dunk contest thrice as well - you'd sort of have to be a 'freak' athlete to accomplish what either of those guys have done at their size.
Apparently, the average life expectancy of an NFL athlete is 55 years old, and for a linebacker it's only 52; an obvious advantage of being a professional basketball player as opposed to a professional football player in the NFL is that it would most likely be a lot less strenuous on one's body. That, plus the fact that the NBA season is much longer. 82 games compared to a 16 game season where someone is likely to get hurt almost every game just seems like a win-win situation to me...
