Whats up guys? I know I havent posted a while especially since game 7 of the Finals (Im finally over the job the refs gave the Celtics) Anyhow all summer Ive been thinking of trades for a backup for Pierce and Ray and here is my crazy ideas..i love 4 teams trades because of the difficulties:

Trade 1: Boston Celtics Trades
Big Baby, Tony Gaffney, Oliver Lafayette, 1st round pick

Atlanta Hawks Trades: Jamal Crawford

Denver Trades: Carmelo Anthony, J.R Smith

Minnesota Trades: Beasley, Jonny Flynn, Anthony Toliver

Boston Recieves:Jamal Crawford, Michael Beasley

Denver Recieves:Jonny Flynn, Anthony Tolliver, Glen Davis, 1st draft pick Boston

Minessota Recieves: Carmelo Anthony, Oliver Layfette, Tony Gaffney

Atlanta Recieves: J.R. Smith (maybe a draft pick from Minnesota)

My thinking is that this is 1 of the better packages of youth and a draft pick for Denver and with the addition of Baby and Toliver they will be more inclined to deal Kenyon Martin as well as well as huge savings in money.
Atlanta will see that J.R. Smith can do most of the things that Crawford can and is younger, a bit of a headcase but so is the demands of Jamal Crawford but can be an ideal spark of the bench in the same 6th man role.  Minnosta get the prize of this trade in a legitimate star in Carmelo to team up with Kevin Love, Luke Ridnour, Darko etc..
Boston gets a athletic power forward that can finish around the rim and can run with Rondo...I will admit I will miss Baby as he is 1 of my favorites...Crawford can easily back up Pierce for 1 year or Ray and I think Beasley could see some time at small forward as well.. maybe Minnesota can also send a first to Denver so that they can have 2 1st round picks along with the young players

Trade 2
Boston Trades: Tony Gaffney, Oliver Lafayette, 1st round pick 2012

Portland Trades:Rudy Fernandez

Detroit trades: Tayshaun Prince

Indiana Trades: T.J. Ford, Brandon Rush

Boston Recieves: Rudy Fernandez
Portland recieves:1st round pick Boston, Tony Gaffney
Detroit recieves: T. J. Ford, Brandon Rush,
Indiana Recieves: Tayshaun Prince, Oliver Lafayette

Let me know if these trades are realistic lol im sure trying to fill that final roster spot and I hope we do before training camp is underway thanks..

trade no 1 doesn't work b/c Melo would never leave Denver, which has championship potential, for Minnesota which won't see the Finals for another 30 years(when KG retires, has a son, and develops him into an allstar that gets drafted by the wolves.)

Trade idea no 2 makes a little more sense, kinda not really. Too difficult to pull off and we could get Rudy without having Indy and the other team involved
Can't stop, Rondo!

Lafayette and Gaffney have no trade appeal to anyone... Still... They didnt in the first 9 million proposals and they still dont now.

There is no way that we could net Crawford and Beasley with that deal...Nor would we want to net Beasley for that matter. Crawford, I'd love him, Beasley noooo thanks. Plus I don't think he can be traded until December correct?

Lastly, enough with the ref complaints in the finals... Celts lost the game by themselves by not being aggressive at the end of the game. Oye.

not to discourage positive thinking but neither deal is realistic.

first one screws Denver big time.  they're giving up the 2 best players to get 3 bench players and a low draft pick.  They can do much better for Melo, nevermind with JR Smith added in.

The second one doesn't need any involvement with Indy or Detroit.  Not sold on Rudy though---not for the 2012 pick since that's the year after the planned lockout.  Not really thrilled with giving up any picks that can tie up young talent for cheap while they're still figuring out the next CBA.

We get Beasley and Crawford for a couple of D-Leaguers and Glen Davis?  I don't know, I think we might be giving up too much. I don't want the Maine Red Claws to have to suffer because of this. Maybe if we got Carmello and JR Smith in this deal too, then I MIGHT do it.

That's after Oliver and Gaffney for Melo right?  I heard Denver wanted young talent back for him...
