What if you trade BBD who is in the last year of his contract and probally won't resign with his team to NewYork with a first and second rounder. In return get Anthony Randolph and Bill walker in return.
Bill has somewhat proved yhim self to be able to play long minutes and score in New York.
The real prize though is Randolph. He is 21 years old and has potinal to become a major beast. He's 6-10 with a 7'3 wing span, can play both forward spots, has crazy hoops, and knows how to score off the bench.
I hardly donut New York goes for this unless they ar thinking of Chirs paul being set there way. But if he can make it happen it needs to. Randolph is a Lamar Odam type and can cause match up problems coming off the becnh.
I'd be happy with just Billy.. Still can't believe we gave him up for Nate. I mean, I like Nate but the initial reports of that trade was that Billy was going to be left out.
I didn't see the logic of trading Walker for a player NY didn't want in the first place then and I still don't see it, especially seeing how Walker bloomed in New York.
But realistically, I think we're probably going to sign Jarvis Hayes. It's not really ideal but we're really running low on options right now.
Well firstly, I don't think it's fair to the Knicks to translate "didn't want in the first place" to "didn't want fair value for him". Heck, what's "didn't want in the first place" supposed to mean? Nate's talented; he supposedly turned out to be a knucklehead as far as the Knicks were concerned. Says a lot that the Celtics wanted to re-sign him, maybe we tamed him.

Secondly, arguably Portland "doesn't want Rudy" either or don't think they can keep him for long....we're still having trouble getting him in Boston, aren't we?
ANYWAYS, if we can't trade BBD for Prince, I don't think any other SF is worth acquiring via trade. Definitely not Najera! That almost sounds like a "I can't have BBD off this team fast enough" trade proposal.
As far as Herrmann:
http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/68637/20100811/herrmann_considering_return_to_nba/Argentinian forward Walter Herrmann is exploring a possible return to the NBA.
Herrmann is in talks with Spanish club Caja Laboral to terminate his contract after just one season.
If this is true, and if he can be gotten for the veteran minimum, then I don't see why not, although I admit I'm not sure who he is. <_<
No one else really wows me though, not Huges, not Hayes, Simmons, etc.
