Perk in pain with no games left to miss due to techs? I feel bad for the opponents.

I hope it works out for him and for us. I like that news. I still wonder if Sheed will give us that 20 - 10  -5 block game.

Gotta love that determination. Does anyone know what his official injury is though?

Anything Perk can give us is huge, and greatly appreciated!  Sheldon needs to stay parked on the bench all night, or we're in trouble.  If KG, Sheed, and Davis come out with a ton of energy and are hitting some shots and banging the glass, and staying out of foul trouble, I like our chances anyway.  Tonite I was hoping to see Sheed one or two plays before Perk's injury anyway, when Perk threw a lazy pass that got stolen.  They have to be sharp.  Then if Perk can come in and throw some weight around and grab some rebounds, we match up with them.  It's all got to come together in one game, but we can do it.  There's no way we play nearly as bad.  Tonight it just snowballed the way blowouts do, the Cs missed everything, missed dunks and layups, got no rebounds, it was as bad as it can possibly get.  If they hustle and play D, and the Lakers aren't shooting the lights out, it's anyone's game.  Come on Cs!  Get it done!

I can't imagine him staying on the floor long enough to put up those numbers. I think that kind of thing is in his past.

Anyone who knows me knows that Perk has been my favorite player since his rookie year. I love his heart.  I love his toughness.  The guy is a warrior.  I remember that season he had plantar fasciitis all season.  He missed only 10 games that season and every other player that gets it sits out half a season.  I have no doubt that if Perk can walk and if the doctors don't hog tie him, he will be out there on Thursday.   The game was just a 6 point game when Perk went out.  He took the Celtics toughness with him.  Even if he can't play a lot, just having him give it a try will give the Celtics a boost.

  • KG IS THE KING
From "Celtics Rewind John Ryder", Perkins has a PCL injury and he can barely bend his knees right now. He walked out of Staples with a SEVERE limp.

I am praying so hard right now...

CSN said that he has sprained MCL and PCL ligaments in his right knee. They will know more after the MRI tomorrow.

please clarify for me because i usually have the sound off during Celtic games - even at home - i'm just too nervous to listen to all the banal gobbly-dee-gook and sure don't want to listen to laker fans ...............

so - my question >>>> on the play when Kendrick perkins was injured, Bynum kocked him down from the back and then Bryant just raped him from the front.

was any foul called on the play ?
