Now, the Celtics need to get the G and two P  going.
In my book P has been good, amazing if you don't take scoring into equation, but KG has been in shut down mode for more than a few games in a row.

He has been OK.

But we have seen what he can do, and it is great.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale

Yeah, I think that Pierce has been well below his norm this series, outside of the fourth quarter in Game 1.  We need him to find his jumper, and we especially need him to drive to the hoop and pick up fouls.

I think we need some Nate in the first half. Rondo needs to be full speed at the end of halves.

Doc should take Rondo out a minute or so before the end of the 1st quarter and put him back in early in the 2nd like he used to with Pierce. Longer break without missing much of the game.

i look for pierce to set the tone tonight early. i expect we see a lot of touches for KG early. i am sure the lakers will try to adjust to ray but could still see him hitting some timely shots. and if rondo plays like he did in game 2...boston is tough...if they keep kobe on him...kobe will again be in foul trouble..

boston needs to draw even inside tonight...gotta control bynum
