I bought tickets to the Louis C.K. standup for my fiancee's birthday.  It's at Hampton Beach on July 31, at 8:00pm.  Unfortunately, apparently one of her friends is getting married that night, so that trumps.

So, I've got to get rid of the tickets.  I paid $88 for two, but I'm fine with taking a loss on them.  I'm asking $65, but offers are welcome.

If you haven't seen him, he's a funny guy, and I've got to think that this is going to be a great time.  I'm bummed that I can't go (and so is the fiancee', after I let her know that I'd bought them.)

Please PM me or email me at roy@celticsblog.com if you're interested.

Haha I like this part, "Unfortunately one of her friends is getting married."

Lol.  Trust me, I'm not looking forward to it.

I've already come up with an alternative -- we're going to see Jim Gaffigan in August -- but I guarantee you, I'd have a much better time at this show than I ever would at her friend's lame 300 guest wedding.

Ha.  Probably so.

In a fun story, a friend of a friend recently spent thousands of dollars on a deposit at a certain hotel for a reception.  Friends had spent hundreds booking their rooms, the caterer had been been, etc., etc.

Two weeks before the wedding, the place went bankrupt.  Bye bye deposit, bye bye everything.  It was pretty much the most horrific thing that could happen outside of a death in the family.

And yet...  I'm sort of hoping that happens here.  Does that make me a dirt bag?

I don't know if it makes you a "dirt bag," but it does make you "someone who hopes neither the bride nor groom reads Celticsblog."

also-Louis CK is amazing. If it weren't 4 hours away i'd buy them.

As much as I love Louis C.K. ... I like to stay away from 'Dorchester on the water', NH.
