My biggest pet peeve is the make-up call. I don't care if it's for or against us. It makes me question whether the priority of the refs is really to call the game right or they have some other misguided goals in mind. If they make a bad call and recognize that shouldn't their instinct be to make sure they get the next call as accurate as possible rather than to consciously make another bad call? It makes no sense to me and it drives me crazy.

I'd just like to see them call offensive fouls for moving screens the same way for Perk and Howard. I don't care if they call all of them or none of them, just make the same calls both ways.

As bad as Perk and Dwight are, Rashard has to be the worst offender in this series. He doesn't even bother to give the illusion of standing still.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

One portion of the game that absolutely stunk for me was when Ray hit that three - only to have it negated by a Moving Screen call on Perk.

Talk about Momentum Killers...Ray had been off the whole game..he hits that three and you can assume that that gets him going, thus putting the Magic away quickly.

Even when the replay happened, the announcers didn't agree with the call.

I know that Perk has a history of moving screens, but still..a call is a call.

And in my eyes at least - he didn't move.

It did in fact seem like every single run we attempted, the officials had something to do to stop it.

Don't get me wrong - I'm grateful that our team overcame that, but still the apparent one-sided calls just take away from the game.

some here are missing the point.

it's the context within which that 10 minutes of all-orlando whistles took place that's significant. orlando was down 12, beginning of the last quarter in a game they need to avoid going down 2-0 at home ............. 10 minutes of the most important stretch of the game and boston gets no whistles, zero.

to me, that's a glaring example of officiating bias when orlando was trying to save its season.

You can tell the fix is in by the way Lebron and Cavs are going to win the title again this year.

Lakers/Celtics would do similar or greater numbers than Lebron.

Maybe. Maybe not. What's your point? (I genuinely don't understand)

I just know a lot of people around here referenced the purported conspiracy where Stern would not allow Lebron to lose. They look pretty silly right now (like they did last year, and the year before and so on and so forth).

If somehow I'm to believe the officials helped Orlando all the way back, why would I also believe they'd call the bogus charge on Redick? Why wouldn't they finish the job - send the series to Boston at 1-1? That's the goal, right? More competitive series, which equals more money for the cackling, moustache-twirling David Stern.

The point is that the complaining Orlando fans are correct. We are getting the calls because Stern wants Celtics-Lakers again.

Funny how homers never come to this conclusion because it is not the calls that are the problem, but the perceptions and memories of the fans.

I gift you a TP in return for your common sense.
