ALWAYS nervous....i get so anxious and stressed out about the celtics that i was put on medication to help with migraines and such that comes with how i react when watching them...i do think that they will play well tonight

Don't worry you're not the only one.  I don't take any legal medication but, I do try to relax myself before games but, as my neighbors will a test I'm still rather animated.

My setup is normally standing 5 ft from my big screen TV in constant communication with Doc, the refs, and all the players.

celticinorlando - i can relate lol

not on any meds but when the game gets intense and its close my blood pressure goes up, not healthy i know so lets go out and blow them out? thats the plan

For me this is a good nervous. I'm not saying, "oh man we could lose this right here.." I'm thinking more along the lines of "oh man we could really put them away and win it right now, then what will all the haters say?".. I love it.

We are going to win this game unless some of our starters get in foul trouble.

  • GOT IT!!!
The C's will show up but so will the Cavs. Defense gets it done tonight for the C's.

Mainly nervous because I'm going to be around a crowd of non Celtics.  If we don't do well, most of my words are limited to 4 letters.  So I'm nervous I will be offending some people tonight.  Oh well, Elbow is going to get Rondo'd tonight.

I'm not nervous, because I am playing with house money right now. I picked the Cavs in 6 and the Celts have laready exceeded my expectations for the season. For that I am extremely happy and am proud to be a Celts' fan given how well they have played in this series. I think they will win tonight, but win or lose, they have played their hearts out (minus one game) and that is all a fan can ask.

The thing that makes me nervous is that I've called every game wrong throughout the series:

Game 1:  I thought this would be the C's best chance to steal homecourt since they were well-rested and Game 2 would occur less than 48 hours later.  Wrong: Cavs win -- they flip the switch in the 3rd and cruise from there.

Game 2: I thought C's without rest and having seen the Cavs turn it on so convincingly to win  Game 1, I though this was going to be all Cavs.  I thought the series would be essentially over as I was sure that the Cavs would win 1 of 2 in Boston in Games 3 and 4.  Wrong: C's won convincingly.

Game 3: Thought this was set for being a huge home win.  The unusual long rest between games was in play, C's feeling great after taking home court advantage.  Wrong: Cavs spank the C's.

Game 4: Was sure Cavs had now taken control and were going to continue to beat up on the C's after the short rest.  Wrong: C's win by 18.

Game 5: Back at the 'Q' I was certain the Cavs would come out with a vengence and beat the C's at home.  Way Wrong: C's dessimate the Cavs

Game 6:  Feels like C's have the momentum and are back home.

I do have to be correct once -- don't I?

I think the best way to describe how I feel is nervously confident (if that even makes sense.)
