"The switch," I guess, is playing Rasheed half as many minutes as Glen Davis and keeping the guy playing the best b-ball out there on the floor in the 4th.

Good job Doc. :)

Beautifully stated.  More in re: Sheed, since I was less enamored with the Infant than most, though he did some good things down the stretch.

Agree with both of you.  Doc made all the right moves tonight in terms of minutes.  TA was covering up Wade at times and BBD just had the energy going.

Sheed's minutes may fluctuate during the playoffs, but tonights portion was just right.

It's good to see all the TA non-lovers manning up and admitting he's playing extremely well. TP to all of you.
Also Doc keeping BBD in the game was a great move and I applaud him for trying to win this time, not just trying to please the egos of the older crowd. BBD played great and TA and he were the reason we turned the game around and WON@!!!

I'll take the TP, but just don't mistaken me for a TA hater. I've always had TA's back.  :D

Oh sorry, Tai, didn't know. And remember, I didn't say 'hater', but non lover. Not allowed to say hater here.  ;D

And Reggie, thanks for the info about BBD. Excellent point. TP to you also.

You know what occurred to me after tonight's game?

Tony Allen might the player best-suited to defend D-Wade...not just on our team, but in the whole NBA.

Same height, same build and strength, similar speed and athleticism...TA is Wade-lite in every way, though his defense isn't that far behind.
Eric Gordon was very successful defending Wade too this season.

Another guy with a similar physique, 6-4, muscular and very quick. Very explosive.

Interesting ... any other similar physical specimens that we can check up on? To see how they did against Wade?

Tony Allen was tremendous last night. A game changer. Best player on the team.

Hopefully, his strong play will continue and he'll have a big series here.

  • You say when......
A lot of guys , like me here always saw This play "in" TA..but as you can see with coming back from a knee injury (kg not dunking much) it makes a guy tentative....reluctant to jump hard or go into a scrum for the ball...TA is past his (1 year ) now we are seeing the TA we saw the year he hurt his knee, well, before it......plus a few more years of experience..THE SLASHER...!!! BBD looked good in the second half...i was happy with what he did.....i still would give sheldon some minutes also......
