Just to pump eachother up ?

I didn't think so.

I watched it live and had to play it back again.  I think PP was trying to tell KG about either a missed defensive or offensive rotation/assignment.  That was my guess.

If you keep watching on tivo, during a break, you'll see PP talking to a suited up Michael Finley.  It looked like he was telling him about the KG incident.  Who knows what was said but it looked like PP was explaining to Finley what KG didn't get at the time, as if to say, " man, took him long enough to realize that he missed something. "

It could have been a legit argument, but that happens all the time in games. My teammates and I would get at each other for stuff--sloppy passes, lazy rebounding. We never got in each others' faces like that, but that's probably because we were all a) female, and b) not KG.

In-game arguments like that are generally nothing to worry over. Sometimes someone has to act like the captain and call teammates out. Nothing here to blow out of proportion.

I worry much less about that than I do about Perk and his horrific body language. This year he's gotten really out of control and is constantly showing his frustrations. He seems to overreact when he doesn't receive the ball in the post if he has good position and/or a switch has occurred. Another example is when he rotates to help out a teammate and his man scores when a teammate failed to properly rotate to Perk's man. This exact thing happened yesterday towards the end of the game when he yelled at PP. Granted, he's right in these situations, but there is another way to address these issues.

I do love Perk's game and all the toughness and little things he brings to the floor, but unless he changes his attitude I rather look for a sign and trade when he's up for a re-signing. 4M per yr and a bad attitude is one thing, but 10M per yr is quite another.

bad attitude ?

having played post in college, i can tell you that working your ass off to establish a good scoring position and not getting the entry is very frustrating.

even worse is doing your job rotating to the ball to help on defense, only to see the player you left then get the pass for an easy layup. that team defensive rotation is what the Celtics did so perfectly and beautifully in '08 and it was what won the title. they are not concentrating and working on defense the same way this year.

i'm glad that Perk is getting angry over those type of screw-ups by his teammates.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

i think there was initially a legit argument, but once the team huddled b4 leaving the bench, it looks like they turned the words into motivation.

its understandable and normal.....there was frustration and they are close with one another.  chaulk it up as 2 brothers arguing, but have each other's back and dont hold a grudge.

this happens a lot more than one would think, its just not always televised.

<i could be dead wrong about this, but its my interpretation>
I agree it looks like there was something at first.  KG pushed Pierce's hand away and then immediately Ray turns around and Perk puts his hand out in between them.  Then when Ray turns back around he has a little grin but then his face got real serious when KG said something to him.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Didn't anyone see when Pierce ran to help KG up the other night after a foul? He pushed everyone out of the way so he could help him.
Fighting? Huge over reaction, please.
I actually think they were making out.
