Love your trade celtsrp33, but Golden State would probably throw up all over it.

Agreed. The reality is Morrow is good, young, plays off the ball, and is cheap so, a) the Warriors have zero reason to trade him (as opposed to Ellis considering Curry's growth), and b) the Cs have nothing to offer for such a player.

Morrow is an average player on a bad team.  I don't know if he'd crack the rotation here.  I don't think anything where we give ray and don't get Ellis back is a no go.

Incorrect. Way off.

I think GS would consider something similar to the deal I proposed.  Bell is basically useless to them - and gets some $$ off the books for the C's next year.  They obviously want to unload Ellis' contract and Morrow is rumored to be on the block anyway.  Ray gives them a lot of free cap space for next season and gives them a solid starting 2.  I don't think this deal iss too far away from something that is realistic.

I agree. GSW already have Curry as their PG of the future. I am pretty sure they would like to get rid of Ellis because he can't effectively with Curry. Ellis for Ray trade was rumored about a month ago, I would only do it if we got Morrow as well.

Maybe send Ellis to a 3rd team , Ray and picks to GSW + Morrow and pieces that fit better than Ellis to the C's

If Morrow is so good and so inexpensive, doesn't demand the ball, etc.-- why is he on the trading block?

He's not.  Other teams want him though.

I'd consider Ray/Baby for Bell/Morrow/Maggette/Turiaf.

Start Morrow and his elite-level shooting, set Daniels/Maggette/Turiaf lose off the bench to play high-energy D, rebound and fast-break.

I doubt we're getting Ellis.  If we want Morrow, we'd have to swallow Maggette.

I would love to get Morrow. I think he would complement Daniels perfectly. And bench of Daniels/Morrow/Sheed would be deadly. But not if we have to give up Ray. I think that's settling too much. Does anyone no if Brandon Wright is available? Because his contract would help make this trade a lot easier. We could do a swap of TA of and someone (Eddie, Giddens, Williams..) with Morrow and Wright. I don't think GSW would do it but maybe if we threw in a pick they would consider it

He makes $736K a year, averages 12.3 points, and shoots 45% from 3. He may be the best 3 point shooter in the NBA. You actually buy that he's on the trading block?
