Bring back John Carroll

...of course we'd have to get Chucky Atkins back too, because everyone knows JC was nothing w/o Chucky.
Yup

If Doc were to go ... it would have to be an experienced head coach.

I don't trust a rookie coach to get through to this veteran team.

Here's a shortlist

Avery Johnson
Paul Silas
Jeff Van Gundy
Del Harris
Sam Mitchell
Lawrence Frank
Byron Scott
Mike Fratello
Phil Johnson
Doug Collins

Let Avery try and inspire them.

Love Avery. He made Dirk a superstar. Maybe he can do the same with Rondo. And manage better.

Pht, Doc Brown is the only coach that can save this team, you know it to be true.

I mean, Look at this sexy beast!

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
This team is embarrassing. Doc may not be to blame as much as some think though. I am not so sure they are just ignoring him, playing like a bunch of punks.

I would love to see Doc 0 - a guy I genuinely like - resign after this game, admitting the team is completely out of control. He will get another job, he has enough creds on his resume to earn it.

Tonight was nothing short of disgusting.

and who replaces him?

And who makes this official?

True.  No official stamp on it.

Interesting that I'm not ready for Doc to go, but I'm interested in discussing replacements.  This is a big step for me people.
Yup

I hate this guy as a human being.  When Rick Carlyle played the referees by complaining after a playoff game that Brandon Hunter was just a thug, and carroll sent him in to beat up Jermaine O'Neal, he defended himself (denied sending him in to be a thug) and NEVER defended the player.  Carlyle knew Carroll accidentally found a guy that would make Jermaine work for position instead of letting him have position right on the box.  It worked.  Brandon didn't play in the next game.

John Carroll is a jerk.

Nothing to do with Doc, but it does point out why players like him.  He doesn't trash them in the press game-by-game like Obie did, either.
