Perk has what is commonly referred to as Black Hole Syndrome.

Sometimes I think Perk plays on emotion.
When things are not running well, he kind of retreats into his old shell.

Rasheeds lackluster effort and complaining have changed Perks attitude a bit.

If thats the case (and it isn't), Perkins isn't the player i thought he was.

In fact, if one 35 year old bench player's opinion and demeanor is affecting the other 14 this dramatically and changing the way they play basketball, none of them deserve to win another title, because they are mentally weak.

Don't you remember Perk joking and hugging the officials before this season?

As far as I'm concerned, and no offense to anyone who feels this way, but I didn't think it was worth my time to reply to anyone who honestly felt Perk has done this or that this season simply because of Sheed when Perk was just the same last year. Perk was tied for 6th in the league in techs (12) last year. Urban legends ftl.

Tai, didn't you get the blog memo?

any effort/ consistency problems are all wallace's fault, and logic be [dang]ed  ::)

kidding aside, This teams problems have little, if nothing to do with sheed's supposed attitude problem spreading throughout the locker room.

they have to do with being a year older, coasting, and most importantly with our sudden alergic reaction to crashing the boards.

Rasheed plays with little effort. Most time he walks up the floor on fast breaks. No one said he was a locker room malcontent. Rasheeds lazy approach to the game has rubbed off on Perk a bit. How else can you explain us being 29th in rebounding. New Jersey rebounds better than us. The effort just isnt there.
