Ray cannot guard Kobie. Sheed can't guard anyone (abused by Gasol). KG is hobbling around. BBD is not playing with fire.

We need Marquis Daniel healthy and a true 6'-8" wing. Daniels at SF is not the answer.

1.Get better at the freethrow line...missed freethrows are a big deal
2.KG become a little more offensive minded

Here's something to consider that most people haven't mentioned yet, the C's need to get at the boards. I know its kind of a fluky thing because ball is going to go wherever it wants but they are giving up way too many second chance opportunities. I don't know what happened from last year to this year but something did. I don't think you can attribute it to health either because KG was out just as many games last year as this one.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Health.

KG to be at least an 18/8/3 guy with great defense.

Ray to be at least a 37% 3 point shooter.

Sheed to either stop taking the 3 or to shoot at a 34/35% clip.

Marquis Daniels to come back.

tp i agree with KG potential stats and what he needs..they can't get away with him not raising his stats some.

Beyond health, more time playing together as a stable unit.

My answer to the question, "What do the Celtics need most?" is:

1) More games against the Nets.

2) Health.

3) Their mojo.

To me it's mostly health. I simply am not giving up on these guys when we have been down 2-3 "key" rotation guys, all season. They have not been able to get any rhythym whatsoever.

1. So, first, get healthy and stay healthy if possible.

2. Then, as Racker jsut stated, get some mojo because of it.

These tow things in themselves put us over the top of Cavs and lakers IMHO

3. Third, find a way to get some nasty toughness on the bench. Doesn't ahve to be a huge trade or signing. Even is you could add a Nate Ronginson and a Reggie Evans type, guys with motors and attitude, we would rocket over the Cavs and Lakers. I am not so much worried about the hawks or Magic if we are 100% healthy.

TP for Celtics 17, re Celts needing back up point. Absolutely baffling to me on Ainge's part. He has an elite point in Rondo and has simply refused to just get an even adequate back up for him for three years. Cassell and Marbury are not adequate.

All we need is and Anthony Carter type. Anyone who understand how to run the point and can hit a shot every now and then. One year, maybe you can't fin the right guy to get behind Rondo. But three years? No back up point? Real back up point...
