Is there any possible way to get a combo of AK47, Brewer and Korver from the Jazz. Brewer starts at the 2 and is a great defensive complement to Rondo. AK plays major minutes in the 6th man role and can really guard 3 positions if need be. Korver is thrown in because he isnt playing and has a 5.5 expiring coming off the books. AK comes off the books with KG and Pierce.

Ray ray... and who else would the Jazz take? If anything? They are in a good spot but they've been trying to unload AK for years and this gives them the financial flexibility they are looking for.

Ray, House, Big Baby along with a pick or two? Or do we not have enough to make a deal?

Rondo/Daniels
Brewer/T.A./Walker
Pierce/AK/Korver
Garnett/AK/Williams/Scalabrine
Perkins/Wallace

I think this gives us depth, youth, defense, and an ability to really fast break. Only thing is we loose a shooter, but Korver could be our spot guy A lot of people bash AK but i like his game. And he is due for a change of scenery....I dunno, any thoughts?

I would do this, but I thought Utah was looking to trade Boozer? I doubt if Utah would want to do this...

I don't think either team does this.  The C's don't want Kirilenko's contract, and the Jazz don't want to give up Kirilenko...especially not enough to include Brewer.  I think a more reasonable deal would be Korver and Boozer for Ray.  And if KG does not improve, that could make some sense.

and the Jazz don't want to give up Kirilenko
I thought Utah were shopping Kirilenko ... only problem is that they can't get any decent offers for him.

  • Rondo = Good
Brewer + Kirilenko seems reasonable to me from our perspective, though it kinda screws us over financially in the future, so I don't think it happens.

Plus Utah is just starting to play well recently so I doubt they'd make such a big move.
