Makes total sense for both teams.

Knicks get all expirings, and the c's get a defensive wing and a scoring point guard.  ;)

Not sure I want to enable a division rival to sign 2 max FA's in the big 2010 bonanza, even though I like the talent.

The knicks are looking to evict their entire line up for this 2010 offseason, so they wouldn't and shouldn;t even care. Nate will not resign next year, not after this benching treatment. I won't mind seeing Larry HUGHES or RAJA BELL here also, AFTER A BUYOUT.

I don't get why people say we can't trade for Nate Robinson without getting a third team involved...

Talent-wise I love it.  The problem is the Jeffries's salary.  Is the C's ownership willing to pay for that next year?  How would that additional salary affect our ability to sign / resign guys next season?
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

you should list the players so it can be read in the thread.

since I can't open it, i'm assuming it's chandler, nate and jeffries for scal, eddie house, giddens (or walker) and TA,  which has been posted about 1,000 times over the last 2 weeks.

The original trade idea is great. Jeffries could be offered a buyout OR trade bait next season for free agents in 2011?
And Hughes would be a bad idea b/c he can't produce without having 20 shot attempts. Bell would be good if Quis has issues when he comes back.

I would rather make this a larger trade. I hate Jeffries contract but Wilson Chandler would be a great wing for us, specially as he becomes better from 3.
Can't stop, Rondo!

So forgeting the money, the Knicks are ending 3 guys you can play for 4 guys who can't? That might be a little strong about House but he really hasn't played well this year. I just don't understand why the Knicks who are making a run at the playoffs do this?

The link is blocked for me, what are the details?

they won't, but it's not as crazy as it sounds when you count the $9mil in cap space they immediately add this summer. if you took chandler out and added in jordan hill, they'd do it all day every day. i'd only do it if it included chandler or gallinari.

Woah Woah Woah.. I'm not about to give up Scalabrine for a player not named Bosh or Wade.

Ok, on more serious note, why would NY do this trade?  Regardless, I like it.
