why would GS deal maggette and randolph for expirings, or why would they have ever thought of doing that?  Stop dreaming, get real. Maggette alone would be worth that price.  Throw in Marquis Daniels for all I care. Maggetted would be the perfect swing guy off the bench. Perfect.
The problem isn't his game, but his contract. Maggette gets paid an awful lot for a long time.

With Golden State you realy cant bring logic into the equation. There moves over the last 5 years have been exremely illogical and they destroyed a young up and coming team.

Never loved Maggette's game.  Very good scorer and finisher, but doesn't make anyone better and contributes very little on D other than some decent work on the boards.

That's not worth the big price tag on defense/ball movement oriented team like this.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

If we were a team like the Magic or Hawks, and it wasn't clear we had enough to win it all, I might gamble on him.  But given the fact that I'm confident we have what it takes when healthy to win, I wouldn't want to gamble with chemistry and potential financial flexibility next year to bring him on.

The Spurs should trade Richard Jefferson for Maggette.
