To me though with Gilbert and Amare to a lesser extent injuries are a huge reason why I didn't expect them to come out and tear it up. Gilbert hasn't played in like 2 years what sort of expectations can we have of him especially this early in the season? I think it's a bonus if he can just stay on the floor for now and give anything. Ok that might be an overstatement but i certainly didn't expect him to come out firing on all cylinders at all. Even if Lebron or Dwade were injured for like 2 years I wouldn't expect them to be the most efficient and dominant ball players especially this early in the season

Turkoglu's points, rebounds and assists are down. Wasn't he also expected to help Toronto win some games as well? Toronto seems to be doing worse with him than they were without him.

Delonte West
Michael Redd
Brad Miller
Elton Brand
Jose Calderon
Derrick Rose
Richard Jefferson
James Posey

And a host of guys because they are injured but they probably don't count.

Pick Three and no matter who you pick, you're probably right.

Turkoglu - Really expected him to perform as per usual, Toronto is just such an awful and soft team.

Rose - Expected him to come into the season alot more agressive, begin to be the primary go-to player of the bulls. Still it's only his second year...

I guess youre right.  I suppose expecting Gilbert Arenas to come back and play like the great player he says he was before the injuries is just as unreasonable as say......asking for a max extension when your knee is still suspect and you havent played in a year and a half.

people have every right to jump all over gilbert as much as he runs his mouth and after how he put money over the well being of his team.

I guess I'll go with Shaq, Michael Redd and Delonte West. Al Jefferson is honorable mention

Michael Beasley for the Heat is my first pick for players not playing like they're expected, not the lack of his offensive production but he is not holding his own on defense.Haslem is getting more minutes than Eric Spoelstra wanted to give him in crunch time of some games because Beasley's poor defensive skills gives him no choice but to sit him more. Also,he can't be counted on consistently for scoring big numbers...example:Some nights he will score 20plus pts,and then come back with a 10pt game.I expected him to come into this season with a higher scoring punch, something they need to help Wade.#2From the same team Mario Chalmers, has sort of disappointed me so far this season,by not being consistent night after night with his pg leadership. Some nights he is into it like a pg should be,attacking the hoop, being aggressive on both end. Then some nights Wade has to basically take over the point, and run the team.I feel his maturing process is not progressing at a high rate.In order for the Heat to stay competitive an make it through more than a round in the playoffs this season,Chalmers has to develop his skills and bring the energy to the team night after night to help Wade be successful.#3,so far Tony Parker hasn't shown me a lot as far as his leadership on the floor like in the past. His speed is not as quick, his shooting has seem to taken a drop or maybe his shot selection is not as good as it once was.I haven't seen the Tony Parker of old so far this season.
