This would more intriguing than the Barkley/ref race.   ;D

I wonder how fast Lebron is and if he could give Rondo a run for his money.

Rondo's faster than LeBron, but its way close than it should be considering how much bigger he is!

Why would you race for 200k. That'd be retarded. No one is that dumb or cocky. I will be shocked if its that much.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

If Rondo keeps doing things like this, he's going to end up with Antoine Walker.

Haha! I really love this. True competition. I love having a competior like Rondo on our side.

Antoine was competitve but got lazy at the same time. That's why he was only left with gambling to relieve his competitive urges. I dont think Rondo will ever get to that point. But hey MJ got in trouble with gambling so who knows.

I don't really think this'll be all that close if it's a short distance.  Rondo has elite speed in a league that values quickness and hops more than north-to-south speed.  Chris Johnson has elite speed in a league where top speed is much more important.

So unless Rondo's as fast as he says he is, this one goes to CJ.

Why would he talk this much trash if he didn't have a ridiculous 40 time? I'm curious to see how this would go.

I'd be a little more inclined to back Rondo here if he hadn't already established a history of biting off more than he can chew.  I don't care how fast he is - he's not touching Usain Bolt in a race.  That, however, didn't keep him from throwing the challenge out there.  I'm thinking that Chris Johnson is a similar case.

From everything I have seen of Rondo, he is a guy with amazing athletic ability. I think jumping and foot speed are positively correlated. It is kind of hard to imagine him beating a guy with 4.2 speed but it's also kind of hard to imagine many people with a higher vertical jump then Rondo too. He would be better off challenging him on that measure.

Rondo would have no chance.  I would love to actually see it, because he would get destroyed.  Rondo is fast, CJ is very very fast.
