I didn't see it and I don't know who he is. I really have nothing to add with this post but I noticed I have 999 posts and want a star.

Haha, at least you're being honest :)

Unfortunately I didn't see this (just moved to MI).  Does anyone know of any video?

Not really sure how Jesus Christ can really be considered an expletive anyway.  Listen to Brazilian speaking and hear the Lord's name everywhere.  I don't think it's a big deal.

Maybe to non-Christians it's ok to swear this way, but to Christians like myself, the definition of swearing is taking the Lord's name in vain. To say it's not an expletive or not a big deal, is all in the way you look at it, I guess. To me, it's a very big deal, and at least as bad as the "F" word or anything else.

And what is up with Tanguay's new style. It's like since 98.5 the sports hub, he's been dressed like The Most Interesting Man in the world.

Did you mean "vain?"

Or vane, like in windvane?
Or vein, like in blood vein?

Yeah, thanks ... can always count on spelling corrections here .... as sure as a "Bring Back 'Toine" thread, (regardless of the substance). Jeez ... you honestly didn't know what I meant? ;)

Oh, trust me, I know what you mean.  I come from an extremely Christian home and I understand this whole concept.  However, from where I grew up, the whole thing about taking the Lord's name in vain is if it's coming from your mouth.  As in, I wouldn't say the JC word if I am using in vain because I would be cursing myself.  However, if somebody else says it in vain, then that person is cursing himself.  My parent's never made me say the Lord's name in vain, but if somebody else said it, it shouldn't be offensive to you.  It should be a personal thing between the person saying it and the Lord above.  You know what I am saying?
