Hey all! I was considering purchasing the NBA League Pass online service. I live in Ohio so I rarely get to see my beloved Celtics play. I'm a poor college student so if I do it, it would probably be with the 5 payments of 29.95. I was wondering if any of you have done similar and could tell me how the payment plan works. Thanks in advance!

If you can get the League Pass TV service, go for that instead. It costs a little more, but is worth the extra charge. The online service quality I found to be lacking, with it freezing up alot. I much prefer TV reception.

Hey, thanks for the response! Unfortunately the best option for me right now is the internet service. I've been using the free trial right now and I really enjoy it, I've only had it freeze up on me once and I think it was because my roommate was using xbox live downstairs.

If your internet connection is good, and your computer at least decent, then it shouldn't be freezing on you.

I have league pass broadband and connect my computer to my 42" plasma.  The quality is a step below normal television, but it's very watchable and enjoyable.

Don't get the $134 plan.  Get the "choose 7 teams plan" which is only $90.

My only complaint with league pass so far is that the Celtics are rarely on it!  I understand that all cbs, abc, tnt, etc games are blacked out, but NBA TV games are blacked out too.  That in particular doesn't make sense to me as NBA tv, as well as league pass, are owned by the NBA.
