he's still effective on defense.  He can move side to side pretty well, he still can deflect shots and cause trouble.

On offense, he's not the same right now.
He's still better than Sheed on offense because of his passing. Sheed's to one dimensional.

Plus he'll actually post up more than Sheed, scarily enough...
True.  I think KG is doing ok on offense with the exception of alley oops.  He's hitting his jumper and making passes.
Sheed is the new black hole.  I doesn't matter if he catches the ball 6 feet beyond the arc; he's going to shoot it.

I almost want the alley-oops to stop until KG knows he can make them.  I think he's missed more than he's made thus far.  Alley-oops should guaranteed baskets.

I agree. Alley-oops also shouldn't have me holding my breath every time. I liked the tip-in on the alley-oop he had last night. Maybe Rondo's pass was off, or maybe it was lucky, but he didn't have to elevate as high.

its age fellas. and there's nothing we can do about that. just hope that his game translates well with his deteriorating athletic ability. which very fortunately KG's does. like Rasheed, he simply knows how to play the game, as evidenced by his game last night. though he didn't throw every alley down, he still scored on each one, and he still did his thing on defense. But the KG we have now is the KG we're going to have for the remainder of the year, and I'm fine with that. I wish some of you would follow suit, he's not at the peak of his physical prime anymore.
