Well, it is ten and always should be considered ten. I don't believe they counted the titles from Minnesota until the earlier 2000's, anyway.

They're the LA Lakers now, not the MPLS Lakers. Imagine the uproar if OKC claimed to have won a championship because they were once the Seattle team that once won a title.

The Lakers as a Franchise have 15 but the LA Lakers have 10... So if they make to 17 what does that mean? Is it just a formality and they are now tied with the Celtics? And do we just seem like sore losers if we don't share the honor? (note: I am a tremendous sore loser, I almost broke up with my girlfriend over a game of spades)

Whatever it is 10 or 15, they will be stuck on it for another year.

None of this matters. In the world of basketball, it is always up for the Celtics to win more titles than the Lakers. This is now a part of American history, just like the Battle of Lexington or the last stand at the Alamo.

Elgin Baylor was the Kobe (or even Jordan) of the '60s. Guess what? He was owned by the Celtics team defense. Likewise, today, we will own Kobe!

I watched an episode of South Park.  There was no way I was going to watch the ring ceremony.
