I keep seein' people suggest that they'd rather find a backup pg than sign Stack (or another wing for that matter).
Well, I've been suggesting for the last couple of months or so that, we trade Tony Allen to Golden State for Acie Law.
The money matches perfectly for the deal to go through.
The situation is perfect, b/c clearly TA just proves over and over again, that he just can't adjust his game in to what the Celtics want to do. His game is best suited for a Don Nelson type of offense. Acie Law is on a team log-jammed at pg's,(monta, steph curry, speedy,cj watson) and uncoventional pg's (stephen jackson, Anthony Randolph, corey maggette). There's no room open for Acie to play.
We need a backup point, and bringing in Acie who is almost the same size as TA, can play alongside EHouse , and it'll take care of our backup wing, because now you can put Marquis Daniels back at his natural position.
A simple trade that takes care of everything. you'd still have scal, walker, and giddens, as trade bait later on in the year. 2nd unit will look like this: Law...House..Daniels...Davis...Sheed
